Alan and Yovi’s love story feels like it started long before they met in 2018. Back in 1998, they were at the same school in Venezuela before both families moved to Weston, Florida. Growing up was a series of almost-meetings—Alan’s mom designed Yovi’s childhood home, and Alan was close friends with Yovi’s brother, Ivan—but they never crossed paths.
That changed in 2018 when Yovi interned at Alan’s dad’s company, working closely with Alan. It quickly became clear they were a perfect match, both at work and in life. Since then, these two goofballs have been inseparable and have grown their duo into a little family with their daughter, Capri, who's named after one of their favorite places they've visited together—a little reminder of their past and future adventures.
Their story is a testament to the idea that the universe will bring you your person when the time is right.
– Written by the bride’s cousin, Nicole
To get to Puglia, we recommend flying to Rome and taking a non-stop flight to Brindisi (BDS) or Bari (BRI). If you're flying from Madrid, the best option is the 6 AM Wednesday flight with a stop in Rome or arriving on Monday, the 15th, or Tuesday, the 16th. Let us know if you’re arriving early so we can assist!
transportation
+ car rentaL
If you're planning on spending a few days in Puglia, renting a car is the best and most cost-effective way to truly explore the region. For your convenience, we will be providing transportation to and from all our wedding events from 17-19, with pick-up and drop-off at Ostuni a Mare Hotel.
Taxis are limited in Ostuni—private car services or car rentals are the best option for transportation. This is also true throughout much of Puglia, so it’s something to consider when planning your stay.
30 min. away from Brindisi Airport (recommended)
45 min. away from Bari Airport
Reliable car rental companies in Puglia: Hertz, Europcar, Sixt, Avis or Dollar.

Our dream wedding weekend isn’t just about the big day—it’s about spending time with our favorite people. We imagine late breakfasts, poolside hangs, and endless toasts with all of you. With that in mind, we found the perfect spot to make it happen: Ostuni a Mare.
Surrounded by the charming, historic towns of Puglia, Ostuni a Mare is a beachy hotel just minutes from our wedding venue. While none of our official events will be here, expect to find us lounging by the pool, overindulging at breakfast, and sneaking in snack breaks together.
We’ll be staying at Ostuni a Mare all week long, and would love for you to stay with us, too. Use our room block (at the link below) to book your stay as soon as possible. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, reach out to us, and we’ll happily share a list of our favorite nearby hotels and Airbnbs. Can’t wait to celebrate and vacation with you all!
*Note: Transportation to and from the wedding and pre-wedding events will be provided from Ostuni a Mare.
Be sure to use the link above when booking!
The link works only for these selected dates: Sep 17-21st
Please reach out if you would like to book outside of these dates.
Puglia (pronounced pu-lia, with a silent "g") is located in the heel of Italy’s boot. We fell in love with it's effortless laid-back vibes, stunning coastlines and towns, and its incredible food. If you're staying here for a few days, we definitely recommend renting a car and visiting some of the beautiful towns like Alberobello, Matera and Lecce.
Below are some of our favorite spots. Don’t leave Puglia without trying a delicious orecchiette pasta or a perfectly crisp tomato focaccia. You’ll thank us later!
